Delta flight attendants found the body of a 61-year-old woman in the restroom of a plane that landed in Atlanta early Wednesday morning, a spokeswoman for the company said.

Constipation killed Elvis on the toilet, too. They should make laws prohibiting it.
ROTFL!!!!! Joe and Chris, you made my day!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!! As a retired flight attendant, I'm very surprised that the head f/a did not do a final approach cabin check, however, this story really creeps me out!!!!!
I feel like I am at Wal-Mart........"attention associates, we have a clean up on Isle #3".
I was on a flight last year when it was announced, prior to landing. " The bathroom is now closed" Now it's a 'rest room'. For goodness sake we don't go in there for a rest or a bath. It is a TOILET!
I knew the airlines were nickel and diming people to death......but that's a new approach.
"Atlanta police stationed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport respond to calls about dead bodies on airplanes a couple of times a year"............... can this be true???
I knew airlines were nickel and diming people to death.....but wow!
She probly died from the expensive prices delta is charging these days!! they r outrages!! n god forbid she missed her flight like i did last month in amsterdam where they happily charged me $900.00 to get home the next day!! not to mention $50 for a second bag!! wth is that when other airlines are only charging a mere $25.00? DELTA whats with you? your killing your passengers now?
Given the drop in service in the airline industry nowadays, it's possible that nobody cleaned that toilet for a while. Did someone check her ticket to see where and when she boarded?
I wonder if Delta charged the family of the women $50 for being a second bag.
Dont blame the airport blame Delta!! they are gouging people every chance they get!! in anyway they can :( and its not nickle and dimes people its hunderds and hundreds of dollars they are popping people for!! they got me last month in amsterdam when i missed my flight back to florida even though it was still on the ground and hadnt taken off the sign above the ticket counter chamged so that meant i missed my flight? wtf? i still had over an hour before it was due to leave. doesnt matter that will cost you $600.00 see the lady at the glass desk. no smiles no thank you. and now they are charging passengers $50.00 per second bag? while other airlines only charge $25.00? thier greed is killing thier passengers i think :D haahaaa GONT FLY DELTA!!!!!! the food sux!!!

Now, now, now...that poor woman is dead as a door nail. I am 61. Glad I am not flying anytime soon, because I am certain that if and when I used the Toi-toi, it would creep me out! Talk about dead weight (sorry, I had to say that).
Whatever happened to FAR 121.311?
Per Federal Aviation Regulation the lavatory is NOT a secure area (no seatbelt).
Therefore the person in the LAV should have been moved to his/her seat way before landing.
Sec. 121.311
b) Each person on board an airplane operated under this part shall occupy an approved seat or berth with a separate safety belt properly secured about him or her during movement on the surface.
Louella~ Don't apologise, Honey...it's a sign of weakness!
The food probably killed her, if the prices didn't.
Cleophus~ Was wondering about the 2nd bag charge myself.
Wonder if Delta's PR Department is logged in and reading this stuff...

Hey OLDTHANG,
I know that if I worked for Delta I would be logged in and glued to the comments.
Corpse!??? They make it sound like it was there for days!!! come on she was still warm when they landed!! LOL!! I wonder if she'll get a ride back or a refund? Hopefully she bought a 2-way ticket.
Delta will probably file a claim with the poor woman's estate for the extra flights she took before their ridiculously incompetent staff located her in the restroom. Delta is the worst.
